My wife, Melody, and I are co-owners. We wanted to start a service oriented business that was local to where we live, always hated the drive in commute to NYC and, as entrepreneurs, we wanted to work for ourselves.
We have varied interests ranging from travel, fine dining, fashion, and movies. My wife is from the Philippines, and I’m originally from the UK – we’ve been together for 12 years and between us we have 4 children from prior relationships.
We come across all kinds of people, most of whom appreciate the service we provide and who are satisfied not only with the quality of our work but also our work ethic and attitude in getting the tasks done to their satisfaction. It is equally satisfying for us, as service providers, to see the difference between the before and after of our cleanings – it’s gratifying and motivates us to keep on providing the high quality service that we are known for.
Our service is exceptional, we are well disciplined, and already have a great reputation among our community, with a growing number of customers, and with various apps we use that connect us to new customers. Part of our philosophy is if you are going to do something then do it to the best of your ability, we like helping others who are less fortunate and believe in paying it forward. In time, as White Glove grows, we believe a number of our service providers will in fact become business owners in their own right as franchisees once the timing and opportunity is right both for them and for us. The best kind of worker is one that is motivated and the best motivation one can provide is when an individual becomes a business owner.
